The home was built in 1898 and was like stepping back in time. Think of old west movies and a community hostel. Be forewarned that the stairs are steep and steps toward the bottom blend in with the floor, lest you almost lose your balance, miss a step, and possibly do a faceplant. The stairway is divided by a quarter turn landing. It's 6 steps from the top to landing and 11 steps down from the landing. I am deathly scared of stairs, and so I dearly held onto the bannister. A tip is to carry only light items and refrain from overburdening yourself. The bathroom floor is tile, so make certain to place a towel on the floor prior to bathing/showering. Keep safety in mind, always. Be nice to the dog and cat on the premises. They will greet and meet frequently...nice to have them around. The house is an old lady, quirky and somehow forgiving. It reminded me of the house from "It's a Wonderful Life." That is, it must have been a glorious home in it's heyday. Doors to the rooms have no key.

Perfect place for the price! My room had a very comfy bed and the neighborhood was so quiet and safe. Aimee ensured all my needs were met. I’d love to return for a few Tech games with fall.
