We had a very comfortable experience. Harish ji was extremely responsive and not only received us warmly but also guided us with local recommendations and cab arrangements. Do try the home cooked food as it was totally worth it. The cottage was very well maintained and we instantly felt at home. Fireplace is available in the common living space. We would love to recommend it to our friends and might even consider revisiting.

I personally felt it be a bit expensive. But I enjoyed every bit there…. The place was exactly like I wanted peaceful, beautiful, clean and most importantly relaxing. The caretakers were also very welcoming so overall it was a Good stay….they should really be appreciated as they are bringing the real home touch to that place.

The Deodars is a haven of tranquility, providing the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. From the moment I arrived, I was immersed in the serene beauty of nature, surrounded by a lush forest of oak, pine, fir, and vibrant rhododendrons. The sprawling property exuded charm and warmth, instantly making it feel like a home away from home. The carefully preserved colonial architecture added a touch of timeless elegance to the overall atmosphere. The warmth and genuine hospitality and amazing food prepared with love and care by the caretaker, along with offering valuable insights about surrounding area and even taking me to a bhandara at the local Ram temple as it happened to be Hanuman Jayanti - all made my stay welcoming and comfortable. This enchanting colonial bungalow deserves every bit of its 5 star rating. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone in search of a memorable and revitalizing getaway.
