My family really likes visiting our daughter at Luther College and enjoying all that it and Decorah have to offer. We also really liked this listing. Great location; close to downtown, but on a quiet neighborhood street. Comfortable furniture and beds. Nice decor and a lot of natural light. The bathroom is very small; we discovered that using the toilet works best if you straddle the left shower wall as if it's a harp. We kept joking that we were off to play the harp; honestly, it was all good, lol. Although we didn't get to meet Kelsey in person this trip (perhaps next time), we found her to be pleasant and thorough in her written communications. Unfortunately for us, this listing was already booked for the weekend of Luther's Spring Opera in May; good for the host, though! We're looking very forward to staying here for Nordic Fest in July. For that trip, we plan to use the kitchen more and we hope to enjoy the enclosed front porch, as well!

First time using an Airbnb. I felt weird being in someone’s home I didn’t know without them there, but Kelsey told me there was nothing to be weirded out by and I would be ok. She responded to my questions when I had them. The house was nice and clean when we arrived. Only annoyance was the placement of the toilet. I’m a bigger girl so it was hard to use. Nothing she can do about it though because she’s not the one who built the house like it is.

The house is very cozy! It's a perfect location to stay for a few days. It's close to Decorah's main street. Everything was impeccably clean. Kelsey provided all the information needed. It's a perfect house for 4 people. The bathroom is small, but suitable for small-medium sized people. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Decorah.
