Majida is the worst host I have ever come across on Airbnb She is rude and unorganised and the type of person who will not own up to her own mistake and instead rather try to divert blame. I booked her apartment for a couple of nights as I had to travel for a funeral. It was self check in and so I received my confirmation and started my 5 hour commute. I messaged her a number of times and got no responses and as I arrived I started calling her for the code to the lock box. She eventually returned my call and informed me that there was already someone else at the apartment and that I couldn’t stay there despite it being available and me having a confirmation of my booking. She was very rude on the phone and started suggesting there was something wrong with the platform and that I need to speak to airbnb for a refund. She offered no apology for the fact that she had made a mistake by showing her apartment available for self check in on the dates I booked. She caused me and my elderly parents a lot of distress on an already sad day and her incompetence led to me needing to spend two further hours trying to secure somewhere for my family to stay. She also then went onto the platform and messaged me stating that she is cancelling the booking for covid related reasons which totally went against what she said on the phone. She clearly lets the apartment out through other means and isn’t able to manage the bookings. I would not suggest that there is anything wrong with the apartment as it looks great in pictures but I can’t say much more than that on it. I would recommend speaking to her before booking as her listing accuracy isn’t very reliable.
