Cosy cottage in a lovely part of the world, close to Settle and a good base for the Three Peaks. Great communication from host when he found out about an issue with the oven; he offered an alternative property. Would have given more stars if it hadn't have been for a few kitchen issues that need more attention. Only one wine glass was available, and a frying pan had an extremely loose handle that made cooking eggs tricky (would've sorted it if I'd found a screwdriver). The cottage is great if you want a cosy base in a picturesque setting that's good value, where the emphasis is on getting out and about.

Lovely little cottage, that had just about everything we needed. We did struggle with allergies when at the home, unsure if it was dusty or pet hair. Also worth noting (a picture in listing would be nice) that the stairs are tucked away in the kitchen and it was a bit awkward getting up and down as very steep- anybody over 5’6 would struggle with stair height. Lovely shower and cooking facilities, nice overall X

This is a tidy and peaceful cottage, we spent our mini-moon here. Langcliffe is a quiet village a walkable mile from Settle, the host was very helpful with recommendations of local places to eat (of which there are no lack). It is a traditional house with low ceilings, stone walls etc. Really lovely and we would love to go again.
