Anna's house is an old and charming villa in La Maddalena, surrounded by a beautiful garden. The house is as described. There is both WiFi and air conditioning (which we didn't need because the house was cool enough). The kitchen has everything you need to cook lunches and dinners to enjoy on the beautiful veranda. The location is perfect, close enough to the center, reachable in a few minutes on foot, yet far enough away to enjoy peaceful evenings. Last but not least Anna who was a fantastic host, always attentive to our needs. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Anna's place and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stay in La Maddalena.

Good communication prior to check in. Arrived on the Saturday evening to find out the air conditioning in the flat was broken and couldn’t be fixed until 5 days after we arrived, so struggled to sleep the first night. Next day we raised our unhappiness at the situation with the host and we were told that we could change accommodation as another guest had checked out that morning. Arrived there to find it hadn’t been cleaned, so had to clean it ourselves (dirty make up wipes/used tissues left out and dead cockroach) plus change sheets and remove the dirty ones. Raised these issues with Airbnb who then contacted the host, she was visibly annoyed by it when she turned up at our door at 10pm to confront us about this. Needless to say, this made our first two days there quite stressful. Apartment itself is in a good location, and if these issues hadn’t have happened or had the host been more empathic to our situation it would have been wonderful. La Maddalena is a great place and well worth a visit.

We had a wonderful week in the apartment on La Maddalena. The flat is really old and the furniture looks antique. The bathroom is quite small but looks very new and clean. Only the kitchen was not in the best condition anymore. The pots and pans were quite old and some of them were already rusty and we missed a sharp knife. But nevertheless we had everything we needed. The location of the apartement is close to the centre. It is only a 10 minute walk to reach the mainsquare. From the big terasse you can see the ocean and spend some nice hours in the evening.

Anna‘s place on the beautiful island of la Maddalena is really worth staying. A beautiful, authentic house with an impressive garden, very nice interiors. Very spacious and calm, and good to have airconditioning and Wifi, which isn‘t necessarily a given in other places around. The contact and communications with Anna where always open, supporting, helpful and on a personal level really warmhearted and interesting to talk to. We can highly recommend staying at this place, and would always choose to stay there again.

We had a lovely time at La Maddalena in Anna's beautiful old family house. The first days Anna helped us out a lot. She picked us up at the port and the following days she drove us around the island by car. Something we didn't expect but what made our visit very personal and we also got a lot of information about the island. Anna visists La Maddalena in the summer ever since she was a child because her grandparents lived in the house back in the days. There is a bus driving around the island. It's a perfect way to get to most of the beaches, so the rest of the days we got everywhere by bus (after we had the best italian coffee from the coffeebar around the corner, thanks to Anna who recommended it). When we got home we enjoyed sitting on the porch with a tasty glass of italian wine. It was an experience we definitly will not forget, thanks to the lovely house and the beautiful island, but also because of Anna's outstanding hospitallity and personal treatment.
