All in a friendly easy going proprietor/Andrew with lots of information for the surrounding areas..also the Chinese/Indian restaurants..and most important the English breakfast cafe ..brilliant..just yards for all ..pluss two great pubs ..we will be back again soon ..thanks for a lovely stay..

This delightful house was built in 1647 with beamed ceilings in many rooms. It has been tastefully decorated throughout, with modern kitchen and bathroom. Andrew was most welcoming and ensured I had everything I needed. Hot were always available, and it was useful to store some foodstuff in the fridge. My room on the first floor was warm and bright, with good lighting and a very comfortable double bed. It is conveniently located next to the bathroom, which has a walk in shower as well as a bath. Free parking was twenty yards from the entrance. If you have the opportunity, do ask Andrew to recite some of his witty poems during your visit! I felt it was a privilege to stay there.
