Our Stay at Dereks Bungalow was as described and more. Ideally placed for visiting surrounding areas eg Liverpool, Southport, Formby and more. Once again we were made to feel very welcome by Mac & Jan who were the perfect hosts as well as catering for our additional needs and more with the use of a high chair and cot for our little one. Couldn’t have asked for anything more. 5 stars!!

Lovely little bungalow in a great location. Very clean and extremely well equipped. Jan and Mac are wonderful thoughtful hosts who made us feel very welcome.
This was our second stay at Mac and Jan lovely bungalow. The bungalow is furnished to a very high standard and it's super clean. They provide lots of little extras, towels , bath toiletries, bread and milk. The surrounding area is beautiful with lots of canal walks, pubs and restaurants in town.
Wonderful hosts, excellent speedy communication so very friendly and helpful. Brilliant high quality bungalow has everything you could possibly want. Immaculate clean. Location was perfect with lovely canal walks down the road and plenty of places to eat in the village. Highly recommend.

Hi. We are Mac & Jan. We married in 1977 & prior to moving to South Wales in October ‘22 we lived in Lancashire. We first hosted on AirBnb ‘Derek’s Countryside Bungalow’ in April ‘19 paying tribute to Jan’s Dad (a loving family man who was extremely special). We now live next to the Mon & Brec Canal in Govilon, close to beautiful Abergavenny. We saw the potential here in this beautiful location & are ready to host again. We hope to meet you soon
