The teepee was amazing! We were the first guests to stay in the winter, it sounds like, and it was nice and toasty inside with the little fire and the gas heater. The bed was amazing, and the set up is very charming- we loved the colored lights. I think this would be an incredible place in the summer, getting to meet other folks like an adult summer camp. We used the outdoor fire pit and had a nice solstice celebration. There were a few kinks due to the winter season, but Dani jumped right on it - very kind, sweet and responsive host doing her best to make an amazing experience.
Pictures cannot show what a special place this is. Tucked into some of the most stunning forests of southern Oregon, this private retreat is a truly unique stay and experience. Danelle and her family are wonderful hosts, as they make you feel welcome and comfortable. The tipi's are beautiful, clean, comfortable, large and yet so cozy. My 3 girls declared this stay to be "better than Disneyland" as there are loads of fun activities for all ages! Swimming, fishing, peddle boating, pickle ball, basketball, tomahawk throwing, outdoor theater, hammocks, badminton, to name some of the activities that guests are welcome to enjoy at their leisure. Rest and relax, or play and have an adventure, this stay is one you'll never forget. We cannot wait to return!
This was our second time staying here but this time we brought the entire family. So worth it! There wasn’t a second that went by that we weren’t having a great time. Thanks Dani!!! See you again soon!
