This was a beautiful stay. our host were friendly and welcoming. even brought our groceries in for us! the hospitality is unmatched. They presented us with a bottle of wine to help celebrate our ten year anniversary. We felt like family right of the bat. The stay exceeded expectations. They had everything you could need right there. Theres plemty to do for the qhole family. The host think of everything, the place was clean, fun and comfortable. We want to make this airbnb a tradition!

Our stay was beyond words. Quiet and peaceful. Beautiful area, if you love the outdoors this is the place for you. The living space was spacious and lots to do if the weather doesn't work out. IT has a rustic charm with all the needed family amenities.

My buddies and I had an amazing time at Jordan and James’ home! The home has a ton of character and it’s clear how much love and care they’ve put into their home over the decades. The place had everything we need and Jordan and James were so communicative and responsive. There are beautiful views of the forest from the porch. We saw some deer in the forest! It really felt like a retreat and we were sad to leave! The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s one of the coolest places I’ve ever seen. The interior was incredibly nostalgic with an old 80s pinball machine and record player. There were tons of board games, a full kitchen and a grill we got to take advantage of. We had a beautiful bonfire on their private beach. And Traverse City was just a short car ride away. Honestly there’s enough to do at the place that we would have had a blast without even going into the city! Can’t recommend this place enough and James and Jordan are the best. Hope to come back one day!

Great communication, large space, the games were great to keep our kids occupied since we had a rainy few days. The lakefront looks like it would be great if the weather cooperates! Thanks for a nice stay.

This trip will go down in our books as one of the greats! Jordan and James made hosting their unique spot one of the easiest, fun, and accommodating experiences we ever had. Honestly, wish we could of stayed longer! Their place is amusing; full of variety and good energy. You can just, be, here. If you must do inside activities, there’s nearly any game available. Variety of literature. Spin a record on their old cabinet radio, it puts out amazing sound! Full kitchen - we made a cake to share for my wife’s 40th! Outside was the real attraction. The short walk on the path thru their woods, and over a street to their private lakefront was everything we’d hoped, and more. Lake Chandler is quiet. Water is super clean and fairly warm. We swam, took the kayaks out, and paddle boarded around. There’s a nice shallow sandbar near too! Take advantage, have a bonfire on the beach. Sleeping Bear Dunes - 1hr Mackinac Island - 2hr Hot tub was EVERYTHING. GO! Treat yourself.
