Namgyal and his family were extremely hospitable. The location is bit detached from leh market but it's worth if you wish for peace. Food was very homely and the entire family was really helpful. All in all it is a very good place to stay.

Hidden valley isn’t a hotel or even a homestay, it’s a home. Pure home. I stayed here for two nights and even in -4 degrees temperature, it’s the warmth and genuine love of the family that keeps you going. I have told Phuntsog ji that I will be visiting again and I mean it. My best wishes and lots of blessings.

Phuntsog's place is situated in a quaintly charming village. You can experience the genuine village life and the food prepared by the hosts was delicious. There is no limit to the potential for finding interesting locations for the intrepid hikers. Finally, the whole family was warm and treated me well. I would definitely recommend this place for the peace and quiet far from the bustling city.

I am an avid traveler and have stayed in a variety of places around the world, and I will write a review only when it is truly deserving…and this stay more than deserves a review! Phutsong (he goes by Nomgyal) and his family are incredibly kind and hospitable. The first day, Nomgyal sat down with me and helped me plan my entire itinerary for Leh. Asking for my interests, giving recommendations AND arranging everything from transportation to an overnight hotel in Nubra. I had difficulty with my Credit Card/ATM and Nomgyal was more than understanding! Never a concern, he only wanted to make sure I was comfortable and enjoying myself. There are so many highlights to this trip and the stay that I simply do not have enough room to write. I highly recommend staying with Nomgyal and his family for AT LEAST 2 nights minimum. Hang out, get recommendations, relax, enjoy the pure silence and tranquility of their home. You won’t regret it!
