Very nice stay on the Daniele's yacht. He with his daughter made everything easy for us. The two recommended restaurants were excellent !

Daniele and his family were very welcoming. We stayed on the boat for 3 nights and toured around Portovenere and went to the beach with our 3 year old. We didn’t charter the boat to visit around since we had seen Cinque Terre in the past. The boat is very old, air conditioning is not very effective. It was very expensive for what you get. The bathroom sink was black from mold around the edges, the kitchen was cluttered and the drying rack was filthy. The bed linens and towels were very old. No beach towels. It’s well located but hard to get to by car. You have to unload quickly in a no parking zone and then park 5km up the hill for 10€ and take the bus back . If you don’t have an Italian phone number you won’t be able to download the municipal parking app and need to take the bus there and back every morning before 8 am to pay for parking. Or bring your car in before 8 for a lucky spot in town near the boat for 39€. That’s what we ended up doing.

What an amazing experience spending the night on Daniel, Andrea and Elisa’s incredible boat. They were gracious enough to allow us to stay with only a few hours advanced notice (they usually require 2 days). Upon arriving, the boat was spotless and our hosts explained everything we would need to know about the boat. They made sure we were perfectly comfortable. Our hosts helped us w/ our luggage and stayed next door to make sure we were ok. The boat is moored in a fabulous location and we had an awesome view of all the activity on the water and a quick walk to Porto Venere - a wonderful area with beautiful views and great shopping (and restaurants). The following day they took us on a 4 hour tour of the area - stopping to allow us to swim and sharing their knowledge of the sights on the sea. Following that, they provided us with a delicious meal and wine. I would highly recommend this adventure!

Great location, great hosts and amazing boat. Couldn’t have been happier with our experience. Swimming off Porto Venere’s only swimmable dock was a highlight of the trip! Only regret is we stayed one night instead of two.
