Lovely home in beautiful surroundings. We used the place as a base to explore the area and meet up with family. Alison and Rod were super responsive and flexible, fantastic hosts. We had 4 guests but it would be easy to have the full 6. The place had everything we needed in terms of amenities, I will definitely visit again!
We loved our stay at this house for a few days. It was unfortunately not the best kind of weather , but there was nothing Alison and Rod could have done about that. We really liked the beautiful surroundings, the large garden and the kids even helped a bit with the olive harvest wich they loved. Lots of privacy and very quitely located. The accomodation had everything we needed, even for spending a day inside when it rained all day. Communication was always quick , and Alison checked on us during the week if everything was to our liking. Highly recommended accomodation!
Lovely cottage where we found everything we needed. We enjoyed the swimming pool surrounded by nature. The house has all the facilities, everything was very clean, sheets and towels smelled amazing, Rod and Alison were very thoughtful and friendly, we couldn't be happier. Thank you Alison and Rod and see you next time!
Beautiful place in calm and peaceful surroundings, close to town and its amenities, not too far from the coast either. Perfect for resetting and relaxing. Hosts very responsive and helpful, we run out of gas for bbq and it was sorted within 5 mins. Remember to take your toiletries as there isn’t much provided (shower gels, shampoos etc)

We are Alison & Rod, English, but have lived in Central Portugal since 2016. We have two sons living in the Uk and a daughter with her family (and our two grandchildren) living in Australia. We are guests and also hosts with airbnb, we run an Alojamento Local (holiday cottage) in Sertã, Central Portugal.
