It was a very cozy and special place to stay. It looked old outside, but the architecture was renovated, and the owner designed interior and space in Japanese modern way. What’s more, hosts were taking care of us always and treated us special guests. The food they served was decorated with natural things and they were quite tasty. I have visited 20 countries before, but this place was one of the best place I’ve ever stayed for sure.

Miki, Keita, and Yuko were soooooo incredibly hospitable, kind, and generous, it was beyond everything that I was expecting. The food was immaculately prepared at their place and they were gracious enough to take me to amazing places to eat too. They were so considerate to take me to places they thought I would appreciate as an artist, I got to make my own hanko- personal stamp by a local master craftsman, had amazing temple food, went to the lake, the whole area is so stunning. I’m sad my trip was too short. I’d highly recommend at least a week there if you enjoy being in the mountains and nature. There are so many amazing trails to hike. Keita also speaks English and even knew who Bauhaus is! Super plus points there ^____^ thank you sooooo much!!!!!! I am forever grateful ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

What an unexpected surprise was this place. I consider this house to be the best accommodation I have ever stayed, I have no words to describe how beautiful people are behind this pension. Keita, Miki and Yuko-san are the most beautiful, kind and genuine people I have ever met. It was simply love at first sight. The house is a traditional japanese one, with beautiful touches and extraordinary people. During our just 3 days stay the hosts make us feel like friends instead of guests. We’ve had half board, and both breakfast and dinner were amazing, best food I have ever been eaten. My wife is vegan and she felt like in a never ending fairytale. The landscape is simply stunning, with green mountains and a close lake to visit. During our visit Japan has been hit by a very powerful typhoon and the hosts took care of us by transferring us to the biggest city nearby, and booked in our behalf a nice safe hotel to accommodate in. And provided free transfer. We’ve had experienced countless beautiful touches with the feeling of genuinely. Arigato goziemas Keita, Miki and Yuko-san! You are simply amazing and we love you so much!
