Quinta de Colina felt like home from the instant we arrived. Richard and Fiona allowed us to drop off our luggage in the morning since we had to go back to Porto to return our campervan rental. We stayed four nights and could have stayed a month! Richard and Fiona invited us over for wine one night. What lovely people! We were in Castanheira de Pêra to look at a house to buy and Richard and Fiona were very informative about the area. We visited Tasanal, a slate house village, in the mountains above the town a half hour away, which was a recommendation from Richard. The airbnb was below their main house, the stone walls keep the apartment cool and reduce noise. King size comfortable bed, great shower and nice kitchen/living space with a small private space outside to enjoy the outdoor views and the chickens! Highly recommend this airbnb. We have stayed in many over the years and this is one of the best ever! We intend to stay again next year at our new home away from home!

Ottimo è riduttivo: bella casa con spazi ampi e fruibili; cucina completa; grande disponibilità da parte di Richard e Fiona e grande anzi grandissima cortesia. Location magnifica sia per i paesaggi sia per un giro esplorativo di questo magnifico paese. Un grazie speciale a Richard e a Fiona che con la loro presenza hanno reso questa vacanza indimenticabile

Richard and Fiona are really Super-Hosts. Always there if you have questions or need recommendations for e.g. hiking and they welcome you as a very welcome guest. In fact you feel like visiting old friends. The apartment has everything you might wish for and even more. Thick, old stony walls, comfortable furniture and bed, a kitchen with everything you need to cook, and everything looks like a "private room shared with good friends". In addition we liked the outside seating, the large table under the roof for breakfast and dinner, as well as the chairs and small table on the terrace, overlooking the garden and the valley, where we used to sit every afternoon to relax. If you are looking for good hiking trails, you are in the right place. But if you are more interested in culture and history, you are in the right place, too, e.g. visiting the Schist Villages. We've been very sorry to leave after only eight days, but we hope to come back soon.

Ich möchte mich bedanken für den tollen Aufenthalt. Jedem der sein Aufenthalt genießen und in vollen Zügen von der wunderschönen Natur Portugals von morgens bis abends genießen möchte, kann ich diese Unterkunft mit tollem Ausblick empfehlen. Selten so tolle und freundliche Gastgeber gehabt. Von dem Moment als die Buchung stand mit mir kommuniziert. Mich herzlichst empfangen, am Morgen frisches Brot gebracht und sogar Orangen und Mandarinen als Geschenk erhalten. Einen eigenen Stellplatz für das Mietauto hatte ich ebenfalls. Durch die Empfehlung der beiden Gastgeber, konnte ich die Gegend erkunden und die nächtgelegenen Stadt für ein Abendessen besuchen. Der Aufenthalt so kurz er war, hat sich gelohnt. Ich komme gerne wieder.

perfecte locatie. heel rustig, mooie omgeving, zeer warm welkom, de beste hosts die we ooit hebben gehad. het voelt als thuiskomen hier!
