This was the most amazing AirBnB we've ever stayed at. It was worth every penny. The views were absolutely incredible! We put about 1,000 km on our car driving around Iceland and concluded that, although there were many beautiful sites, the views were the most amazing from the house! Everything was perfect when we arrived. The beds were very very comfortable and there are automatic blinds for privacy, but it's so far up on the hillside you didn't even need them. There is a grocery store in Akranes, which is only about 20 minutes away by car, so we stocked up on snacks and drinks for the week the first day. We highly recommend Husafell Canyon Baths - Google it. It was our favorite experience on the trip. Our family of 5 all agreed the house was the perfect choice. If you're thinking of spending time in Iceland, book this house. You'll be so glad you did.

Susanne is one of the most empathetic host we have experienced in our travels, she was extremely responsive, always ready to assist and eased our stresses concerning some travel delays. Her property is truly luxurious, very well appointed, stunning Scandinavian design choices and +5 Star amenities. Location is still central and not too far from everything, very quiet and incredible views. We can highly recommend Susanne’s place and would always stay again.

Besides the awesome view as per photos, we were very impressed with the house furnishing! Everything is of the quality and very well maintained. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances, cutleries and condiments. Host is super responsive and helpful. Highly recommend the stay.

This is a very special home with incredible attention detail and so well thought out. It’s a great location to get away from the hoards of people if you are up for exploring. Highly recommend, one of the coolest homes I have rented on Airbnb.

We loved this home!! It was so beautiful. As a photographer, I couldn’t get enough of the natural window light, and we all loved the vistas. It was really generous of Susanne to acquire a pack n play for our baby so we didn’t have to fly with one! Location was lovely. Hot tub was a treat. And communication was immediate and very helpful! Hope to be back some day!!!
