Lovely place to spend some time as a family. We explored the grounds and enjoyed the pool. The house is quite compact but we knew about this. It would be ideal if it had a Washine machine but the host did offer us use of another so and in the end we didn’t need it. A comfy sofa would be great but the chairs were also nice. Overall a really lovely place to be :-)

Vi havde en fantastisk ferie hos Marie og Ronald, på deres smukke chateau, som ligger tæt på den lille, men hyggelige by Combourg, hvor vi kunne klare indkøb, gå på hyggeligt mandags marked og købe lækre croissanter. Vi rejste med vores to børn på 2 og 6 år og Marie og Ronalds slot er perfekt til at have familien med. Der er god plads til at lege på, en lækker pool og fantastiske omgivelser hvor man bl.a. kan gå på opdagelse i skoven, eller ro en tur på søen hvor man også kan fiske. Marie og Ronald er utroligt søde og gæstfri. Det eneste vi fortryder er, at vi ikke havde booket mere end 5 dage. Vi kommer helt sikkert tilbage igen en dag.

Lovely cottage on a lovely estate with a great shared pool just behind the house, and close to Combourg which we enjoyed visiting.

We had a great time staying at the park house in the beautiful area of Château du Grand Val. The estate is amazing, the hosts, Marie and her family are so kind. It is highly recommended.
