I absolutely enjoyed staying in Barbara‘s flat. Highlights for me were: great location in Trostberg, the terrace and its views and the beautiful river Alz!

I am very pleased during my accommodation. House is centrally located. It is close to bus and train station 5 min by walk. Flat was very clean. Inside of the flat there was everything that I can need basically. Internet connection was very good. There is also a big terrace with a nice view. In addition the landlady is one of the best I have ever met. She is very kind and hospitable.

The good stuff - the location is excellent. In the heart of Trostberg old town. A sleepy town but with charm and some nice independent shops. Amazing bakery/cafe below. Great base for exploring Bavaria as Alps and Königssee Lake and Salzburg only an hours drive, Chiemsee Lake and islands 20 minutes and Munich only 1.5hrs. Lots of beautiful places to go. The apartment is very spacious and the views are stunning! When available, host was kind and pleasant. The not so good stuff - no parking except short stay spots which you have to pay for, or a free street 10 minutes walk away. Although a genuine attempt at a surface clean had been done, it was a little bit dirty. Bed is comfortable but only 2 pillows provided which are hard on the neck. Very little communication from host, hard to find as no directions (front door is metal/glass door next to camera shop). Kitchen is very small and basic, most things are there but no mugs, no surface to cook or prepare food on. There is some lovely furniture but overall it is very tired and old and in need of a refurbishment really. You have a very long flight of stairs to go up each time which at least keeps you fit but you need to be physically very well to manage these.

The apartment is clean and very spacious, charmingly furnished, with an excellent terrace and views of the town and surroundings. All the amenities you need for a perfect stay in the heart of the town. Parking is easy and very close by and inexpensive.
