Gorgeous 2BR/2BA Historic Townhome that sleeps 4 people in King & Queen Beds, located in the heart of the Landmark Historic District just off Troup Square! Built in 1869 for Mayor of Sav! Perfect location for Foodies & History Buffs! Next to Savannah's newest Deli - Urban Deli!, fab restaurants, the Cathedral, St Vincents, and easily walk to Forsyth Park & River St. Easy Uber/Lyft ride to the shopping & all that Downtown Savannah has to offer. Live like a local in this beautiful Townhome! Nearly 2000sqft townhome with 14 ft tall high ceilings with original plaster crown molding and floor to ceiling windows! Beautiful Natural Light pours into the space inviting a high vibe experience. This space is truly a Savannah gem and unique because the King Bedroom is open to the kitchen and Living Room (NO DOORS between the rooms - studio style). The Guest Sleeping Quarters is located in a secluded nook under the stairwell... it can be made **mostly private** by closing the doors from the Kitchen however there is not a door from the hallway to the Living Room. There is direct access to each individual bathroom from each Sleeping Quarters without having to go through the other bedrooms... Lovely views of the Historic District's Troup Square from the Living Room. The bedroom is currently open concept to the kitchen and the additional bedroom area is situated in the hall which becomes private when all doors to the Living Room & Kitchen are closed. Brand new AC system keeps you nice and cool on these hot Southern Savannah nights!! Also all of the units must be turned onto AC at the same time. If one is on heat and one is on AC, the entire system will not work. It’s called a multi city system and it all runs off one condenser. It can’t run different settings on each head. You’ll need to take the remote to each head and cycle it through (listen for a beep) and make sure it is on the right setting. I usually cycle it through a few times to make sure it is on the air conditioning if you use the same remote for each head. 50" Flat Screen streams your Netflix, Amazon, etc! Kitchen is fully loaded with pots and pans, although you will most likely be enjoying the fabulous restaurants nearby. Savannah is a foodie town!

Beautiful place to stay and great hosts!
This is my favorite place I’ve stayed in Savannah. The location is great, never more than a half mile walk from anything. The area is really quiet at night as well. It was never a problem to find free parking on the street right outside the unit. Inside, the place was clean. The bed was comfortable, and it had everything we needed. The communication from the hosts was very quick as well. 5*’s all around.
This is a GORGEOUS place-even more beautiful than the photos. Delightful history of the mayor’s home in a peaceful neighborhood. I brought my three adult daughters for a girls weekend and loved every minute! Easy access to activities, lots of wonderful restaurants to choose from, and Southern charm in abundance! Jenny and her team were quickly responsive to questions and were gracious hosts. Thank you and we look forward to returning!
This Airbnb was so beautiful and historic - even better than the photos! Jenny and her co-hosts were extremely communicative and proactive about the home, events around Savannah, and local recommendations. The location was convenient and walkable to everything. Highly recommend!

Troup Square is located on Habersham Street between Charlton and Harris Streets and was laid out in 1851. It was named for George Michael Troup, Congressional Representative, Governor, and Senator. There was only one other square, Washington Square, named for a person who was alive when so honored.
On the West side of the square, there is a dog fountain that was reinstalled in the 1980s.
The Armillary Sphere in the center of the square was created in the 1970s and represents an ancient astronomical device. It originally had gold continents inside and twelve Zodiacs on the rim; but were removed as it became a prank to take!
If you'd like to rent kayaks and bicycles, let us know! We can connect you with several local shops. The City of Savannah also rents out bikes from Ellis Square. While there is no backyard or courtyard to the property, the fun part about this location is that Troup Square is right out the front door!
Downstairs you can access the Fox & Fig which is a local VEGAN Coffee Shop opening early & staying open until 9PM. If you're interested in organic or locally based groceries, you can check out Brighter Day just at the bottom of Forsyth Park! Whole Foods is a short Uber Ride away so most food and drink is natural and organic.
By foot is the easiest and most economical, so bring your walking shoes! Savannah is a great walking city!
Pedi cabs like Royal Bike Pedicabs or Savannah Pedicabs, will pick up from this location so you can choose from a "pay what you want" service or "pay by the block" driver! These bikers pedal hard in the summer heat so please tip generously!
If you bring your own vehicle, note that the parking in the area is non-metered however there is a time limit to parking unless you purchase a visitor day pass.
If you're going out for the evening or wanting to escape the Southern heat, grab an Uber or Lyft - the majority of all places are the minimum fare , unless on surging nights with large events like graduations or concerts.
Free parking can be found on Harris St. or, if in a pinch while loading or unloading luggage, free 1-hr parking can be found on Habersham St. Alternatively, you may purchase a day parking pass online through the City of Savannah.

Love our beach, the historic district and being a host! I also volunteer with the Tybee Beach Clean Up Volunteers to help keep our beaches clean. I love riding my bike around the island and downtown, checking out local shops and taking my dogs for a walk! Seeing the sunrise and the sunset over the water is always amazing! Style of hosting is laid back! Style of traveling is laid back! I like to get to know the local area like a local. Five things I cannot live without: My dog, the beach, fun experiences, doubleshot espresso from starbucks and Tybee!
