The property location on the beach was ideal and the property was generally very nice. The views were beautiful and the beach access was perfect. We encountered a few challenges, however, such as gnats in the kitchen and a dishwasher not working. We also suggest that the steps to the beach may need a few repairs, and if a grill will be advertised as part of the property, a new grill may perhaps be needed.

We enjoyed staying at this property. It was so nice to walk out right to the beach & it accommodated all our of people nicely! The customer service & maintenance was helpful with a few hiccups we had.

Loved the privacy of beach, and short distance to Destin shopping, restaurants, & Harborwalk. Surprised to see consideration of soaps, detergent, & even extra towels.

It's a lovely location, but there are many issues with the home that are not consistent with the advertised description that should be attended to, especially at this elevated daily rate. Here is a list of the things wrong with this house that the owner should fix: The Master shower faucet setting doesn’t work. Lowest it goes is 104. The Master bed mattress is extremely old and worn. There are noticeable body depressions on both the right and left sides of the bed. This is a super basic element in arguably the most important room in the house which makes it essentially unusable. The Wine refrigerator is broken The Ice maker is broken The Ceiling Fan in the living room is broken The Lights in the living room book shelf do not work There were no hand towels or wash clothes placed in the master bathroom or any of the other bathrooms. There are no boxes of tissues to be found anywhere The Board walk from the house to the beach is in total disrepair, splintered, dangerous, and needs replacing before someone gets hurt. There are no clear Wi-Fi instructions and guests are charged for access. There are no coasters for cups and glass beverages that I could find The kitchen and bath amenities were sparse down to the Toilet paper which is cheap and rough The Pots and pans and basic kitchen amenities are not consistent with the homes description of a “fully equipped” gourmet kitchen. These should be replaced and upgraded along with the Tupperware. Each bathroom and sink should have full hand soap dispensers The Windows are filthy and need cleaning and many are in disrepair. The Window handle next to the dining table is falling off, and the window itself is in disrepair The entry landscaping between the front driveway and the front door is non existent, looks really crappy, and the footlights are in complete disrepair. First impressions are everything. The front door should be refinished. It would also be consistent with expectations to have the home stocked with some very basic amenities--which can be purchased for under $50--such as coffee k kups and creamer, hand wash, more than one load of laundry detergent, better body products, and salt and pepper shakers (there's no salt and pepper!!) A house of this stature and cost should have the details taken care of to make guests feel like they matter and are pampered. 4744 Ocean Blvd feels like the owners are doing the bare minimum and milking it for profit. All of my suggestions are totally doable, not a huge investment, and would create a more satisfying and luxury experience that is consistent with 4744 Ocean Blvd description on Airbnb. Beautiful property, furnishings, and decor in a great community setting. Breathtaking oceanfront views on the best beach in the U.S. Highly recommended.
