This double story home is in Zimbali. Upstairs is a king-size bedroom with en-suite. Downstairs is a king-size bedroom and single bedroom. These share a family bathroom. Open plan lounge and dining room. They lead to a patio with gas braai and garden which is open to an unfenced pond. Free four seater golf cart, Wifi and DSTV included. Maid service incl on Mon-Fri mornings. House has an inverter for load shedding. A breakage deposit is payable directly to Zimbali Homes not Airbnb. See rules. This house has an inverter back up for load shedding. This provides power for lights, plugs, TV and Wifi. It does not provide power for the air conditioning or the kitchen appliances. There is a two plate gas stove in the kitchen and a gas braai on the patio which can be used during load shedding for cooking. Maid service is for 2 hours from Mondays to Fridays. It is not provided on weekends or public holidays. This is a semi detached house. It shares a central wall with 7 Sawubona. The houses are completely separate apart from the middle wall. We have had thousands of very happy guests who had no problem with it. However one family has complained and did not read the captions that I attached to the photos. So I must point this out before you book. Please look at the photos and read the captions. Thanks so much, we want all our guests to be happy with the accommodation. The golf cart is not included in the price of the house. We are providing the golf cart for free. We are one of the few properties that still provide a complementary golf cart. If the golf cart needs to be repaired for any reason, we do NOT provide another golf cart. We cannot guarantee that it will be repaired while you are on holiday. This golf cart is a free service and our intention is for the golf cart to be available for your use at all times. BUT we have guests who are not used to driving a golf cart and they overheat it, or damage something. Then it needs to be collected and repaired by a golf cart company. We are not in control of the length of time it takes to collect, repair and return it. So the golf cart is provide for free. BUT it is not GUARANTEED and no refunds are given if the golf cart is not available. This house is off Forestwood Drive which is in a part of Zimbali that is closer to the beach, VOP and the Bushbuck facilities. The Zimbali Estate is an exclusive golf estate on the beach near Ballito. It has three swimming pools right next to the beach called the Valley of the Pools, with a restaurant open for meals. It has a childrens playground with trampolines and jungle gym at the Bushbuck Clubhouse and cafe. It has floodlit tennis courts. It also has another two swimming pools - one with childrens water slides away from the beach - Bushbuck pools. We enjoyed our stay, beautiful place and had a wonderful experience. The golf cart is a great perk and managed to go through the full 18holes. Beware the monkeys, otherwise it’s a lovely great place.

Zimbali is still good value, out of season more so. Some facilities are getting long in the tooth, and swimming pools can get quickly over crowded by the local tourists. Some staff members need training in hospitality management as the once exclusive Zimbali is getting a slight government run feel to it….(service and noise levels getting out of control) The unit no 8 at Sawubona is very comfortable and we always enjoy it there especially being central to the amenities and having a golf cart at most Sawubona units. Rules are very strict like speed and check in can be a bore but I suppose it all helps with keeping it safe etc We Always have a good time at Zimbali.

A home away from home. Perfect for families. We recently had a prolonged stay at Jane’s place and can wholeheartedly recommend it for any family seeking comfort, convenience, and an array of activities for the children. The property was immaculate! It was evident that it has been well maintained and a lot of effort goes into looking after the property. The amenities provided were top notch offering us all the comforts of home. The hosts Jane and her husband Andreas went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Andreas was particularly in assisting us with our property search in the area, which was invaluable. Overall our children and both my wife and I had a truly wonderful time and stay. So much to do on the estate with the golf buggy being an excellent addition. Thank you both again for providing an unrivalled experience in the area. Best Alan

The Zimbali Coastal Estate is 20 minutes from Durban airport, it is on the beach with security access. Ballito is only a five minute drive which is a hub of restaurants and shops. Two hours north is the Umfolozi/Hluhluwe game park, it is 25 minutes from Gateway Shopping centre in Umhlanga.
There is a single garage with remote control for the house.
You can walk down to the Zimbali beach and the Valley of the pools.
You will get two access cards to open the booms within the Zimbali Estate to use the facilities such as pools, tennis courts, beach access, Bushbuck clubhouse, driving range, etc.
If you need to use Uber, there are long wait times for security codes to get into and out of the Zimbali Estate. It is better to have your own car.

I have lived here for 18 years and together with Roxanne we hire out many Zimbali holiday homes for owners not living here. Zimbali Homes is fully accredited with ZEMA (Zimbali Estate Management Association) and we have an excellent reputation built over almost two decades here. We value both our guests and the Zimbali Estate and abide by all the Zimbali Estate Rules. Zimbali is a luxury golf estate along the Zimbali beach. It has restaurants and cafe's within the Estate, as well as a clubhouse with sports amenities like tennis courts, pickle ball court, cricket nets and soccer court. There is a children's playground with jungle gym and trampolines and lots of swimming pools, some with slides for children. The Capital Zimbali Hotel is also in the estate with a variety of restaurants, bars, a Day Spa, swimming pools and function rooms. The Zimbali Beach Club is another hotel amenity with a restaurant around a swimming pool and is great for relaxed meals with family. Zimbali is a great estate to live in, or to visit on holiday. Roxanne assists me with the rental bookings, so we work together to ensure everything runs smoothly. We have many repeat bookings from families we have met over the years and love to welcome them back every year.
