The place is very nice and cozy. There are two incredibly good tavernas in just a few minutes walking, and it is very good food. There was also a very friendly cat who was visiting us on the balcony which made our day.

We had a wonderful and rather long stay at the Sternes Dome. We felt at home the minute we stepped in. You will definitely need a car to get around the island as otherwise you would feel isolated. Having said that, we enjoyed the peace and quiet very much so. The local beaches (Marathi and Loutraki) are 7 min away by car and they are great options if you want to stay close. Other beautiful beaches are a medium-to-long drive away. There are a couple of mini market close by and a few others a quick drive away. You will find everything you need very easily. Chania is a charming town and in our opinion beats Rethymno and Heraklion (we can only compare to these two). Great restaurants, shops, bakeries, coffee shops. Aikaterini is a great host and super responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

Wir waren für vier Nächte in der Unterkunft. Alles war so wie beschrieben. Das Haus war sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Sanitäre Anlagen, die Küche und Klimaanlage waren wie neu. Die Gastgeberin hat schnell geantwortet, auch das Einchecken verlief ohne Probleme. Das Airbnb hat einen eigenen Stellplatz. Wir würden einen Mietwagen aufgrund der Lage definitiv empfehlen. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen.

Nous avons été charmées par la jolie maison d'Aikaterini, décorée avec beaucoup de goût et d'originalité, loin du style souvent impersonnel des locations habituelles. Nous nous y sommes senties comme chez nous. Tout était impeccable et pratique. Nous avons été en outre accueillies par la sympathique Artemis qui nous a donné de judicieux conseils sur les endroits à visiter et les bons restaurants aux alentours. Enfin, nous avons beaucoup apprécié les délicieux produits que les propriétaires nous ont offerts, issus de leur jardin. Nous espérons bien revenir.

Aikaterini's place was very great to stay at. We were feeling at home all the time. She was also very well reachable in case of questions. I absolutely recommend this home and host!
