Having planned and saved hard to enjoy a friends special birthday we were expecting the "New Luxury" villa as advertised by airbnb. I am sorry to say that we felt the villa was far from luxurious. On arrival we were greated by the owner Paul, we were early but Paul kindly met us and allowed us to store our suitcases in the garage whilst the cleaners finished the villa. Paul advised us where we could enjoy a good lunch and would let us know when the villa was ready. I must say, Paul is a really nice guy and will do anything to help you. However, i feel i must be honest with my feedback as im not sure who is falsely advertising this villa as "new with all luxury facilities". It is not, it is very nice and maybe "rustic" would be a more accurate description? The pool is large, but has many missing and broken tiles. There are also many areas inside the villa that require attention to be brought up to a luxury standard. The en-suite shower being one, poorly finished with glass that is wider than the shower tray which results in puddles of water, the tap gets ridiculously hot even on a cool shower, we all burned our arms whilst using it. The shower curtain was hanging off and generally poorly maintained. We had no main bathroom for 3 days due to a plumbing issue, this could not be helped and Paul did everything he could to resolve it quickly, however, again it meant 4 people had to use the ensuite disturbing eachother to gain access through the bedroom at night. We also had various workman having to come in and out, not ideal. There was no drinking water, bread milk or simple essentials that i have experienced from other "less luxury" rentals, it might have been nice so a word of warning if you were to arrive late. No basics like washing up liquid or sponges to wash up, had to go to the shop to buy the basics, 1 loo roll provided. The shop is not within walking distance as explained in the description neither is the beach, you will need to drive to the nearest shops and beach which are a good 5/10 mins drive away. Not sure what luxury goods there are in the kitchen??? There is a cheap plastic kettle, there is a coffee machine but nothing special as suggested. The outside bar area which really sold it for me is dark and poorly lit at night, lots of broken fairy lights hang off of the frame, it is also bare unlike the picture. The swings are so uncomfortable we could not use them. All in all very disappointing, but again i will say Paul is an excellent host and if he were to address the many issues it could be a lovely place to stay as the views are stunning.

Brilliant, host Paul was really nice.. checked us in and showed us around and then left us to enjoy the great villa, but was always reachable on the phone for any questions we had. First the location is really good, Elveria is a nice little place and only 3 mins away, loads to do and plenty of little bars, restaurants and nice tapas places, good for all ages. The villa is on a very nice estate and well known in Marbella. It’s only roughly 12 mins away from Marbella centre and only 13 euro in a taxi, very easy accessible. The villa looks good on the pictures and we wasn’t sure what to expect when we arrived, but we was amazed and so happy when we arrived and saw it, it’s got private parking space if needed, we had a hire car so came in handy. Villa was very very clean as I believe Paul’s wife owns a cleaning business, so as you can expect it was faultless.. has 3 big bedrooms and on suite, air conditioning and everything we needed. Paul saw I had a computer on arrival and brought me a desk for it the next day, which was nice. The outside has the sun all day coming across it, from morning till 8pm at night, has bbq , your own bar with swing chairs, sun loungers, and the pool is massive and very well looked after and clean. This place is great value for money, it’s a very good villa and ticks all of the boxes, without paying super villa prices. Will definitely be returning next year, thanks Paul , from Tom and Julia

Great place to stay. Fabulous views and pool. Terrace spacious and relaxing. Would recommend and certainly stay again. Paul a great host.

La casa bien está muy bien, buena ubicación y piscina con buenas vistas. Eso si, en el anuncio no queda nada claro que la casa del casero está conectada con la que alquilamos. El casero y su mujer entraron varias veces sin avisar. Además, el gran problema fue el día del checkout. La mujer del casero entró en la casa sin avisar, cuando aún estábamos durmiendo, gritándonos que nos fuéramos inmediatamente. Entró con una agresividad desmedida, insultándonos y sacando por la fuerza nuestras pertenencias. Una pena no poder volver a esta casa.
