We loved our stay at Gilbert's Hideaway Ocean Breeze Way. The location was amazing… just steps away from Radio Beach. And we had the beach to ourselves most mornings. Comfortable lodging with most everything you need. Plenty of bath & beach towels and real good shower. Gilbert came over once just to make sure the occasional music wasn't too loud (it totally didn't bother us)… but this was extra kind & considerate, I thought. I recommend this place fully! Loved it! I can't wait to go back.

Pros: right next to a nice beach, big space, full sized kitchen with most things you need, hot water and good shower pressure, air con, TV with quite a few options, wifi, can walk to dive shop. Cons: smells musty, it's lacking light as downstairs apartment with no outdoor space to hang your clothes after swimming, neighbours play loud music until 10pm-midnight and can hear every move made upstairs made it hard to sleep, get bitten inside as no screen doors yet you want to open the door to air it out. The island in general is expensive, not great value for what you pay, being able to cook helped keep costs down

Gilbert was very nice and helpful host. Flat was spacious, clean and very nice to stay at. Just close by its a beach with little people around so it's perfect place to have some nice calm relax. I recommend You very much to stay at Gilbert's place!

Gilbert was always helpful. The space is big and the location great. It's opposite a beach with dazzling turquoise water and lots of restaurants and things to do nearby. It needs a better clean and hope if I write this Gilbert will take care of the few problems. Otherwise it was pretty good. I have read of the loud music from a bar nearby. It is loud but over by 10pm and nothing a pair of wax earplugs can't sort.

The apartment was very spacious and a beautiful quiet location, with the beach right outside our door. When booking I assumed it was the 1st floor level where it shows the balcony. In fact the access is hidden in the photo behind the staircase and it’s ground floor with no outside seating area which was a shame in the beautiful morning/evening. The above is a mistranslation between how we in UK and Bahamian label floor levels. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Gilbert and his wife are lovely people. The whole island is a very friendly safe place to visit.
