We fell in love with Beitostølen’s year-round opportunities, with skiing in the winter and hiking in the summer, combined with nice mountain village with well-equipped stores and events almost every weekend. The lodge was built in 2017 for use in weekends and vacations. We wanted to combine the traditional with the modern and have used materials with very high quality throughout. The living room is the central meeting place in the cabin with its high ceiling, characteristic wooden logs, and huge, panoramic windows. Her you can sit in the large sofa and look at the mountains with both Bitihorn and Mugnetind as clearly visible landmarks. The designer fireplace in stone has large glass surfaces and heats comfortably on cold evenings. There is also a Sonos music system. A couple of steps up, and open towards the living room, is the kitchen. Here are all facilities - inductive cooking top, oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer and coffeemaker. Yes, you will even find a waffle iron and raclette. The solid, oak dining table has room for 12 people and the same amazing mountain views as in the living room. From the kitchen is the door to a large terrace (>100 square meters) with views and sun throughout the day. The perfect place to enjoy the afternoon after a day in the mountains. On the main floor are two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed and a door to the terrace. The other bedroom has two single beds which can easily be put together to a double bed. All beds, including the bunk beds on the second floor, have premium mattresses from Jensen and thick down duvets of the best quality. We guarantee you will sleep well. Right outside the bedrooms is a large bathroom with toilet, double sinks, shower and sauna. The main floor also has an extra, separate, small bathroom with a toilet. The remaining part of the main floor is a spacious entrance and a wash room with washing machine, rack for drying clothes and shoe driers. The cozy «oppstua» (upstairs living room) is used for watching TV. Here is a comfortable sofa and a large flatscreen TV connected to an AppleTV with various streaming services such as Netflix. The whole cabin has wifi and high speed, fiberoptic internet. From the TV-room is an exit to a small terrace with an infrared headlamp and windscreen in glass. The second floor also has two bedrooms with bunk beds. These have queen size width (160 cm) on the bottom and single width on the top. The mattresses are the same high quality as downstairs. Outside the bedrooms is a cozy bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. In front of the cabin is a garage with room for one car. There is also a storage room for skis.
