Wonderful family holiday home with lovely communal space and garden

Location was GREAT! view STUNNING! Host RESPONSIVE and HELPFUL! The overall stay was amazing...Though everything in the house felt very fragile and ementities weren't super up to date. That did not bother us so much but we noticed that. Path to the beach has steps..lots..just be prepped...but amazing none the less. We walked to the end and found the public beach where we rented beach chairs. Recommend for a party of four. there are two floors. NOTE..SMALL FRIDGE! Giuseppe was responsive and had all the best recommendations! THANK YOU!

Authentiek Italiaans thuis gevoel met een heerlijk uitzicht. Huis gelegen op een helling in het centrum van Vico Equense. Ruim voor vijf personen zowel qua binnen- als buitenruimte. Op loopafstand van strand (steile trap/pad), centrum met hele leuke restaurantjes en een treinstation (10 minuten). Met de trein kun je naar Sorrento, Pompeii en Napels. Amalfi is half uur rijden (duur of niet te parkeren). Baai van Vico is leuk, wat rustiger dan Sorrento maar super aanbod in restaurantjes. Supermarkt op loopafstand. Inrichting van appartement bevat persoonlijke eigendommen, kan het en der wat onderhoud gebruiken maar vinden wij heel charmant. Twee badkamers en airco op beide slaapkamers.

Vico Equense is a quick train ride away from Sorrento if your plan is to visit but don’t want the overcrowding feeling. It provides for a more relaxing environment that I may have overlooked if it wasn’t just cause Sorrento was already sold out and overpriced for some of the places I saw. Giuseppe’s place feels like a home. Pictures, family games, ping pong table and even a hammock are there if you need. The walk down to the beach can be a hike but it’s a lovely little beach below the cliffs. Giuseppe was the best host communication wise throughout our entire stay.

Villa Lole is an absolutely amazing place to stay. The photos are accurate and yes if you want modern it is not for you. But it is very authentic and traditional. The views from the sun terrace are beautiful and perfect to see the sunsets. It is totally private and not over looked. The villa is a good size with plenty of space. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you would need. Across the road is a path with steps up to town (there is a slightly longer route without steps) or down to the beach. If you cannot manage steps there is a bus which stops just outside the gate to the villa. Giuseppe was very responsive with any information we needed. Vico Equense is quieter than Sorrento (which is only a short train or bus ride away) but there are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Its a perfect base for a week on the Amalfi coast.
