It was wonderful walking into Dirk’s home after a very long flight and having it be so clean and comfortable. The goodies he left for us were very much appreciated as well. He was super responsive whenever I had questions, before and during our visit. It was nice having a place to park our car, and also great to be so close to the train station. We brought my 96yo mother with us so having a couch and half bath downstairs was perfect. In the couple of days we had nice weather, it was lovely sitting outside, enjoying both the sun and the neighborhood cat who visited. We had a fantastic time and wish we could have met Dirk personally. He rocks!!!!

We had a great stay at Dirk's house. His communcation was excellent the whole way through our stay. He welcomed us with helpful supplies, such as bread, eggs and stroopwaffles (yum!). This accomodation was in close proximty to friends of ours who are local to the area. It is also a 5-10 minute walk to the lcoal supermarket, pharmacy and train station (where you can catch a train to Amsterdam in approximately 30 minutes). The garden is lovely, featuring a trampoline, outdoor dining and a fire pit/chimney. It was a lovely place to play in the snow that we awoke to on our final two days.

Our host Dirk was nothing but great to us. He was very attentive and always reached out to make sure we was enjoying our stay. I felt right at home at his place. His place is also located in a BEAUTIFUL city ,with a beautiful scenic area. I would recommend to his place to anyone who wants to visit Amsterdam.

Great host. Very helpful. Good communication. Very nice location. Close to Haarlem as well as Amsterdam by train. Comfortable house with all that is needed for a tourist vacation.

Merci à Dirk pour son accueil ! Le logement est superbe et situé dans un quartier paisible. Pour un voyage de six personnes, je recommande vivement sa maison.
