Donna was right next door, like a dear neighbor. Very friendly, accommodating and available if needed :) Her and her husband went above and beyond and were very special hosts that made our trip magical! The place was beautiful and perfect for that special moment of the year when the sand washes ashore and creates a little tucked away beach. Lots of turtles, a somewhat private space out front but also nearby vacationers further down the beach as well, if you like to be social :) It's a short drive to the little town of Haleiwa and not much further away from Waimea Bay & Shark's Cove - all must see's when visiting the North Shore! If you like a lot of AC, the window units might not be enough for you (especially in the summer) but it sounds like they're updating to a whole new system soon :) Also, make sure to read the description well, there are taxes due prior to arrival that you'll have to pay separately. We definitely would love to visit again, 10/10!

I am so glad we found this house! We brought our extended family on a vacation that we have been talking about for years, and it was worth the wait! The house was absolutely perfect - just like the pictures. We were steps from the beach and saw turtles swimming from the back porch every day. We even saw a monk seal sunning one day! The house had plenty of room for our family of 9 - we never got tired of each other because we all had so much room! The outdoor spaces were peaceful, and the kitchen was the most well-appointed I have ever seen in an Airbnb. There was every appliance, pot, pan, and utensil that we could possibly need. Donna and Damon were the friendliest, most responsive hosts. Donna helped me adjust our schedule, gave me GREAT recommendations for things to eat nearby, and were so welcoming to our entire family. We were so sad to leave, and so hope to visit again!!

Donna and Darren went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The house was impeccable and well stocked. We had a family of 8 and there was plenty of room for everyone with lots of communal areas to spread out and relax. The view was simply amazing with perfect sunsets every time. The location was very convenient, 5min drive to town and supermarkets. The beach the property backed on to was beautiful and home to many turtles. Mahalo! 🌺

Great place with awesome views. Donna was very helpful with everything. Beach was excellent, was able to get into the ocean right behind the house and swim with the turtles.

This was a fantastic stay, we transitioned from Aulani to here on a family trip and it was so great. Hosts which are on property allowed great privacy but readily available for questions and super responsive and knowledgeable. We have 3 children under 10 and the backyard and access to ocean was amazing, waves crashing, whales breaching and turtles in the water were a multiple times per day occurrence, even a few on the beach and rocks right behind the house! Proximity to town was amazing being just a few minutes away for takeout. House is very well equipped and so great having beach chairs, surfboards and boogey boards! We had 3 kids, wife and I, grandparents and 2 siblings and there is plenty of room for all, dinners on the lanai were amazing. Highly recommend!
