Mary and John are wonderful hosts. If you look for peace and quiet on a semi-secluded island, you will find plenty on Chebeague Island. And when you retire from your day of wardering on the island, Mary and John are right there for you. They are friendly, funny and kind, and great conversationalists.

There’s not much I can say about Mary and John that hasn’t already been said in other reviews. They were extremely accommodating and happy to have me there. Mary was very communicative prior to my arrival and was very understanding when working with my schedule catching a late ferry. John even picked me up from the dock from my late ferry. They also provided a ton of information on the island as well as helped me make plans for what to do going back to Portland. They even let me borrow a bike to ride around the island and invited me to their movie nights on their projector. I could go on and on about all the different great things they did but they were just perfect hosts.

Mary and John are thoughtful hosts that go above and beyond to make you feel at home and get the most of out of your stay on the island. This was one of the best AirBnB's I have stayed at both because of the wonderful hosts and the beauty of their home. Can't imagine staying anywhere else on Chebeague!

I very much enjoyed a weekend at Mary's place on Chebeague island. I was not sure about staying on the island for the night, but in the end I was so happy that I stayed there. The check in process was so easy. They picked me up from the ferry station. I enjoyed biking around the island using their bike. Mary and John are amazing hosts. I will stay there again.
