Really great location that is centrally located for a lot of tourist activities. It is close to a lot of shops, markets and the metro. Entry is easy and there is a lift. The place itself was well appointed with everything you would need. We got rained on and even used the laundry dryer to dry our clothes. The place is a studio so the bathroom is on the tighter side but works fine. You are in a great location so there can be noise from outside but the balcony doors do a good job of blocking it out.

Absolutely loved staying at Jose Maria’s flat while in Barcelona for a week. The location was perfect, the flat was extremely clean and the host is so incredibly kind providing local recommendations. Highly recommend considering this place if staying in Barcelona!

Beautifully renovated and quiet space in the heart of the El Born neighborhood. The apartment is extremely thoughtfully designed. Josemaría is very warm and welcoming, and gave us excellent recommendations for local spots. Would definitely stay again without hesitation!

JoséMaria’s place is the perfect example as to why I always go through Airbnb during my travels. You’re not only booking a stay but your ultimately booking experiences too, somewhere where you feel at home and at peace. The place is exactly as described, you are in the center of it ALL. So if you want to be right smack in the center of the action and close to absolutely everything this is your place. Oh, and your view is one of the most beautiful cathedrals in Barcelona. The people watching is fun too. But the absolute bonus point is the host.. In all my years of using Airbnb I gotta say Josemaria is up there with being one of the most welcoming host. From him directly meeting you when you arrive to give you a very informative breakdown of what’s what, to all the recommendations your heart desires. I felt very comfortable in reaching out if I had any questions and his responses were always so welcoming and well received. An absolute gem of person and place!
