Our stay at Jean-Ives and Delphines apartment was just great. They both were so kind and helpful. They answered quickly, there was flexible check-in and they gave us tips etc. for the region (and the were quick in recommending us doctors when we needed one). The apartment was clean and cozy and especially the view was our highlight when eating on the terrace at evening. The neighborhood is beautiful and clean. We only had an issue with getting home with the bus late at night, because some do not come after a certain time or according to schedule (but this is in all of Nice...). Also maps recommend us, two girls, to walk 15 minutes home from a bus stop right through a park at night - in the end we took an uber. I think it's best to have a car for the region in general, especially in the tourist season, the hosts even offer a free parking spot. Otherwise, it was fine to use public transport, just be wary of your belongings in the season!
