It confines with the area “Mugello”, earth of the great family De’ Medici, Dominions and Protagonists of the history in Florence between 1300 and 1700 and known painters as Giotto, Beato Angelico and Andrea del Castagno. Inside the complex, whose origin is already documented from the end of XVIII century, on the Maps of the Granduca Leopoldo of Tuscany, our home -and your apartament- are found to a height of 350 meters, to the feet of the Monte Giovi, 992 meters, that it guarantees us a fresh temperature in the warmest moments in the summer; the home is found on the ‘Road of the Wine Chianti Rufina', surrounded by hectares of ground to olive trees, vineyards, cypresses, oaks and brooms. Currently in our farm we produce good organic oil of olive. Going away, around 1 kilometer up the hill, there is the small suburb of Acone: Dante mentioned it in the Divine Comedy, in the "Heaven - XVI Canto" and you there will enjoy of a wonderful view on the Valley. Many paths for the walks or rides in mountain bike, depart from here. Possibility to make excursions to horse. In Acone there are a small market, where you can found all it is necessary for you and a good restaurant: typical Tuscan food and firewood pizzeria. To valley of the house, around 3 kilometers ,there is the country Rufina, furnished of all the services (station train, pharmacy, banks, postal office, markets, shops, etc…) whether to taste the products of the specialized farms in the wine's production. One of the qualities of the wine “Chianti Rufina” is its ability of aging, merit of every good bottle of “Reserve” . In Rufina It will be a pleasure for you visit the Museum of the Vineyard and the Wine set to the intern of the sixteenth-century Villa di Poggio Reale, one of the greatest museums of the sector in Italy. From Rufina it is within easy to reach Firenze: around 30' by car /bus/ train. The parking lot at the Railway Station of Rufina is free.
