I've had a pleasure to spend almost one month at Lucia's place. The apartment is as shown in the photos, apart from some furniture being different, but this doesn't make much difference. Every week there was a cleaning lady coming to take care of the place so the place was well taken care of. Lucia was kind enough to invite me to join her for some trips and dinners with her friends so I was lucky to try very tasty traditional food and be part of their daily life. Sadly not being able to speak Italian and Lucia not speaking English made it not easy to have conversations that I would usually really enjoy. We've been using translating applications but obviously this would never replace a nice chat. Unfortunatelly i need to mention that I was asked not to use the heating even if my stay was in December but luckily,after some chats, got a small electric heater and a warm hoodie which helped. If you wish to experience living with a real sardinian mama you're definitely in the right place.

Honestly, without doubt the best Airbnb experience yet. Lucia is incredibly welcoming and a joy to be around. I stayed for 5 weeks whilst working in Cagliari and it was perfect. The location is in more of a residential area so is quieter than the centre of town, bus links are great and very regular. Lucia regularly offered wonderful food, recommendations and introduced me to amazing people who will be life long friends. I will absolutely be visiting again.

Lucia is a wonderful host, and I felt right at home for 10 days I was staying with her and her adorable cat Mimi. Lucia doesn't speak English and I don't speak Italian, but we managed to have great communication nevertheless. She is a very cheerful and accommodating person, and I felt very comfortable sharing the apartment with her. She also works and spends a lot of time outside of the house too, so I often had a place for myself. The room was comfortable and clean, I had access to everything I needed in the apartment and the location was perfect for my needs. Close to the beach, but also to the city center, with great bus connections. Overall, I can wholeheartedly recommend staying with Lucia. You won't regret it!

I had a lovely short stay at Lucia’s home. Her home is clean and cosy. She doesn’t speak English but still makes an effort to talk to you and make sure you’re okay/have eaten. She’ll be your Italian mum while you’re away from home. I felt very welcomed and was shown her favourite local spots. Thank you for the beautiful Sardinian hospitality!
