This place is amazing for the price. The host is very helpful and responsive. The public spaces are clean and provide all the essentials. However, certain furnitures and home appliances are old and break easily. For example, the second floor fridge stops working from time to time because of frozen ice blocking the vent. Sometimes the problem is not known immediately, and the food in there can spoil. The host also wouldn’t move your food in the fridge to the other functional fridge if you didn’t ask. Also, the towel bar easily breaks, and the main electric switch is easily flipped off if a blow dryer is used, which caused some inconvenience.

Just moved to SF and Larry provided an affordable clean place to stay!. The other guests staying were clean and respectful.

Laura and Larry were extremely kind and amazing hosts! They make you feel welcome and at-home. This room has no windows and is cozy, but Larry always checked in to make sure I wasn't feeling too claustrophobic! I'm grateful to have had the chance to stay with them for the summer!

I stayed 3 months with Larry and Laura, and I had an amazing stay! I felt welcomes from the very beginning. My room was very clean, and the common areas as well. Everything was cleaned regularly. We even had coffee and towels! Larry was always smiling and welcoming, it felt like home! He was always available and reacted immediately when I had a problem. On my last day I even locked myself out and in 2 minutes, it was resolved! The house is gorgeous and the street peaceful. You have everything you need, and the owner is always there for you. I've lived 3 amazing months w fantastic roommates. It was so nice feeling at home when I was in fact at the other side of the world. Thanks a lot for my experience in SF Larry, and if one day my path leads me to SF again, I'll be sure to stop by the house!

Things to note : there were 7 occupied rooms during my stay and 2 bathrooms and one full kitchen. Cleaning in common areas happens every 2 weeks. The host is kind and provides snacks/coffee but would not accommodate any kind of partial refund when I ended up coming a few days later than planned (fair). I work from home and spent a lot of time at the house and never had any issues with any tenants . Everyone was respectful and kind!
