We stayed in the cottage for a week, we enjoyed the peace and quite and the cottage itself which is spacious and quaint. Our 3 year old had a lot of space to play at outside and inside. There is access to the lake but it is not a place to swim at, you can use the boat or the kayaks Roland has on site to get to the main lake. Roland was very responsive to every question we had and it was great communicating with him. The linens, the bathroom and kitchen were clean and we had all the appliances needed to prepare and have all the meals in the cottage. We had a lot of fun and will be happy to return for another week in the future.

Wunderschönes, idyllisches Haus mitten in der Natur. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Bade- und Angelmöglichkeiten am See. Roland ist ein sehr herzlicher Gastgeber und bei Fragen immer errichbar.

We spent two fantastic weeks in Kummelbo. It’s like a little Swedish paradise! The house is very nice and cozy, the surrounding is beautiful. We enjoyed the time in and at the house. It’s perfect for children, too, who can go outside and explore the surrounding on their own. Lake Sommen and the area offers lots of activities like taking boat trips, swimming, walking, going on bike trips etc. If you are interested in Astrid Lindgren, it’s no problem to reach all the destinations like Katthult, Bullerbü or Astrid Lindgrens Värld etc. within one hour (by car). We liked that very much as well! On a colder day you can enjoy a fire and the sauna. And finally if there were any questions, Roland was always quick to help us and to give us some good advice. For us it was the perfect Sweden experience!

Super gemütliches Ferienhaus in typisch schwedischem Stil in traumhafter Lage. Mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Roland, der Vermieter ist sehr nett und gastfreundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Vi fik præcis hvad vi havde håbet på. Fantastisk natur og det hyggeligste hus man kunne tænke sig. Saunaen med udsigt var en oplevelse i sig selv! Roland var hurtigt til at svare, og utrolig hjælpsom under hele opholdet.
