Ignazio hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und die Villa gezeigt, wie auch alles erklärt! Die Unterkunft haben wir uns auch so vorgestellt. Wir waren zwar skeptisch da wir einige negative Rezessionen gelesen haben. Die wir so nicht empfinden! Sauber war die ganze Villa (innen und aussen), alles war vorhanden, dass benötigt wird für eine Grossfamilie und auch die zusätzlichen Stromkosten sind angemessen! Ignazio war auch immer erreichbar, falls eine Frage im Raum stand! Wir würden diese Villa wieder buchen!

La casa affittata da Ignazio è molto bella sia internamente sia negli spazi esterni dove abbiamo potuto usufruire sia della piscina sia dell’angolo barbecue. Tuttavia ci sono alcune criticità: La pulizia della casa lascia un po’ a desiderare ed Ignazio si è mostrato a tratti piuttosto scortese nei modi con battute anche poco consone. Incomprensibile per noi l’addebito a parte del consumo dell’elettricità (per quanto segnalato nell’annuncio), sia perché aveva un costo spropositato rispetto al nostro soggiorno di soli 2 giorni, sia perché pagato al di fuori del circuito Airbnb.

Ignazio's place is nice but the cleanliness also left a lot to be desired. There were ants on the worktops, spiders in the out house bedroom, overflows in the shower when arrived. Not great but at that time acceptable because He was clear in communication and tried to accommodate us arriving early and even offered us to leave our suitcases at the villa whilst cleaning. We all thought it’s an okay trade off and let it go. Then we had an issue with the toilet leaking and no hot water for a couple of days and he replied instantly to pop over when we were out to take a look (he lives at the bottom of the entrance to the villa). The villa was extremely spacious and lovely - all large rooms with comfy beds and the pool was clean and had a great hosting/relaxing area with build in speakers. All positives: but that’s where it stops. We had persistent issues during our limited time at the villa (we spent most of the time outdoors): * no basic amenities available like hand wash in the two bathrooms - had to buy ourselves. Especially disappointing to see this during the COVID pandemic. One bottle of hand sanitizer in the whole villa isn't sufficient. * Water pressure was often non-existent in the two showers * Intermittent hot water, often not even available as most people taking cold showers daily. * location is an issue - the villa is isolated and has the wrong address on google maps so taxis will get lost unless you have someone to speak Italian and share location pins, videos and pictures with them. It would typically take us 30 mins just to liaise with taxis daily. Get a car or avoid. * Electricity not being included in the total. In 5 days (despite being in the apartment only for a short time in mornings and evenings and when asleep) we were demanded to pay an electricity bill of 112 EUR upon check out being in cash only. Apparently we had consumed 400 KW at 30 cents per KW in 5 days. If this villa was being lived in full time by 10 people this would extrapolate the annual electricity bill at 9,000 EUR at a modest estimate given we were barely in the flat. This is completely unreasonable and seems like a way to make a quick euro from tourists on exit Overall, the villa looks great and is functional. But I would spend your money elsewhere where at least the shower works , you get hot water, no issues with taxis, no rip off bill upon checkout and where you can wash your hands with soap.
