You'll have a great time in this cozy and spacious bedroom at Helena's. The room is fully equipped and the air conditioning really saved me during a strong heatwave that hit NYC. And you'll have nice chats with Helena, a very generous lady who lives there and stays at the living room most of the time! It is easy to reach Manhattan from this place, just make sure you're able to have a 15 minute's walk to the nearest subway (unless you take a bus nearby, which seems the best option, but I always prefer walking). The neighborhood is safe and quiet - so It's also good for those who want more calmness in a city like NYC. Thank you, Petya and Helena!

My stay at Petyas / Elenas place was all ive expected and even more ! After my rushed and exciting days i spend in manhatten it was a perfect place to calm down and reorganize the next day. The public transfer connection is excellent, the busstation is arround the corner and brings you in approx. 30min ( dipends traffic conditions) in the heart of manhattan. The Room is in a safe and clean, green area. Supermarkets close and a park to relax or doin sport close by. The Room is clean, elegant, cosy, kingsize bed , airconditioner, tv .. cant ask for more. kitchen and bathroom clean and easy to acess. Elena as my host was the best of all of it. I enjoyd living with her, we had a great atmosphere and i felt home and welcome. Best Experience i ever had !

The place is just a perfect pick for short or long-term travelers to NYC. The room is pretty spacious, very clean, and comfortable. The address is located very well in Queens, and the amenities are just perfect. The biggest plus for me is the amiable and excellent host. She's so kind and supportive and has a lovely character. The entire experience enriched my stay in NYC a lot.

Petya and Helena are amazing! Helena lives there with her cat Goldie! During my stay she has been kind to grab my groceries, laundry, and packages and bring them upstairs to the room. I’ve been at the home for nearly 2 months and would most certainly book again. The home is close to the Q18 and Q47. It’s also a few stops from the 7, M, and LIRR train! LGA is about 10 min by car and 40 min by public transportation! The room is clean. There is plenty of room in the drawers and closet for clothing/ storage. It can get extremely hot in the home especially in the summer with the windows open as Helena prefers. A fan will help. I was able to turn on the window unit in the bedroom at night in order to sleep comfortably. The bed is on the firm side. There are ample pillows to offset the firmness if you’ll like. I did purchase my own bed linen and towels due to my allergy to harsh detergents. I do believe Helena provides towels, however, I didn’t want to take a chance. There is space for your food storage in the fridge and freezer. Getting up early at 4:50 am to head to my 5:30 gym classes sometimes seems like I’m waking up the world as the stairs squeak. Otherwise, it’s no problem. Overall, my stay has been wonderful! Please note that there is only one bedroom (Helena’s bedroom) in the space which she gives up while she has guests. It did catch me off guard initially as I felt horrible about displacing Helena to the living room during my stay. I think she is used to it now. She is no stranger to long term guests! It is a great value for the price. Enjoy!
