Great location and beautiful room!

The Main Street Bed & Breakfast is located in the quaint, historic town of Hannibal, MO. The sites and activities center mostly around Mark Twain’s stories. The B&B has three separate rooms available to rent. These rooms are on the second floor of a beautifully restored bank building. We stayed in the Frank Lloyd Wright inspired room, which had tasteful, unique decor. It was immaculately clean, had a jetted tub, separate shower, robes, lots of towels, and a very comfortable bed. Complementary snacks, coffee maker and mini fridge were provided. We easily walked the downtown streets, then one block to see a steamboat replica depart for a dinner tour on the mighty Mississippi (need reservations.) We had a great wood-fired pizza at the Brick Oven Restaurant just across the street from the B & B. Michael was a terrific host, who met us upon arrival and escorted us to our room. He lives on the first floor, so he was always available, if needed. We recommend staying here for more than one night to take advantage of the museums, shops, cave and tours.

The room at Michael's was relaxing and cozy. We felt quite at home and enjoyed our stay during the steampunk festival very much. Although there was quite a bit of street noise while the festival was open, it quieted down and we didn't need the provided ear plugs.

Very disappointed in this B&B. So much so we decided to leave and not even stay there. Mold growing around the air conditioning ducks. 3 foot hole in ceiling due to leaky roof. After calling and talking to the owner of it he never even offered to refund the money or even part of it. Very noisy due to the train being across the street which was also never posted in the ad.
