这是一栋有150多年历史的老房，房主Julia用心重新改造，将它从历史中唤醒并成为她们的家。我们在这里渡过了难忘的周末，也许这是我一生中最最独特的一次体验。它让我感觉这所房子是有生命的，它向我讲述着在这里曾经居住的人的故事。虽然有些陈旧，但是主人生活中的点滴收藏，俯首即拾。这里离海滩仅仅几分钟车程，日出很美。唯一遗憾是没有在那里有运气拾到传说中的鲨鱼牙，哈哈！

Lady Amelia is not the cookie-cutter Airbnb place to stay. It is Julia's home, cherished and filled to the brim with her personality and exquisite taste. We have truly been spoiled to have been able to stay here for a month, relishing the hospitality of her home that shows generosity in every possible way, whether working remotely from the house or enjoying Old Fernandina and the beach. 'Generous' is probably the best possible way to describe the house, its owners, Fernandina Beach and Amelia Island. Its quirkiness totally befits a lady of her age! On a practical note, the house is bigger than the photos suggest. It has literally everything that you can possibly think of to live here for a longer period of time. Old Fernandina is unusually charming and friendly; we got to know most of the people there within the month of our stay. In short, is a Lady Amelia uniquely elegant and comfortable home that at the top of our long stay experiences. Thanks ever so much, Julia.

We stayed for a month and wished it could be longer. Our kids had the best time at summer camps while we set up base for a month in this gorgeous location. The house was amazing and it was so welcoming and enjoyable. There was always something to read or look at. I have no complaints or concerns about the stay. Everything was perfectly described in the listing and there were no unpleasant surprises. I can tell Julia has taken so much time and effort to make this home so special. 10/10.

Julia's home is lovely with interesting furnishings and bright, open spaces. We enjoyed the living space off the kitchen with the sunny windows & skylights; this is the room that has the only TV. The layout of the house was a bit confusing from the pictures on the website; our bedroom was on the 3rd floor which has the largest bed, a king, so, if one has mobility issues, one might be more comfortable on the second floor which has a beautiful bedroom with a double bed and a second bedroom with two twin beds. The bathroom is situated in the hallway for use by those two bedrooms. The Olde Towne neighborhood is composed of gravel streets and well kept homes; we enjoyed walking around and chatting with the friendly neighbors. The paper factory is very close by and there were times that the constant hum and odor bothered us (depending on the wind direction) but overall, we enjoyed the location due to it's proximity to downtown and Clinch Park.

Julia’s house is in the best location! Quiet neighborhood, close to downtown, and a great space to spread out. It was a great home for our family for the month. Julia was helpful when we had questions or needed anything. The house itself is an older home with a lot of history. It wasn’t as clean as we would have liked, so we did do some additional cleaning after we arrived, but that was really the only issue. We enjoyed our time in Amelia Island and appreciated the opportunity to stay here.
