It's also a great place to take out if you want to float or kayak from the bridge at Riverfront park, about a 2 hour float. This park is walking distance from the house. There is also a walking/biking path across from the entrance to the Payette River subdivision on Moonridge Dr that can also be used to bike to town. That path is groomed for Nordic skiing in the winter. Payette Lake and downtown McCall are 10min drive away. Ponderosa state park is 15min drive. They have a great trail system with gorgeous views of the lake. During the winter they have groomed Nordic trails Brundage ski resort is about 20min drive. They also have summer activities such as concert series so check their website for info Tamarack ski resort is about 30min drive. There also have year round activities and downhill biking lift in the summer. Activity Barn is 3 min drive away. They have a tubing hill in the winter and Nordic trails.
