Vinciucci is an antique villa from the XVIII century. It is built on the remains of a sighting tower used to spot Saracenic invasions. It overlooks the carob tree fields and is situated between the sea (on the horizon, you have a panorama on both the Mediterranean and Ionian seas) and the Mounts Iblei. The Colombaia is a large apartment, calm, cozy and romantic. There are a double bed and a sofa that can be converted into two single beds. The apartment also includes an equipped kitchen and a bathroom. This room is really fresh in the summer time and warmed with a wood stove during the winter.

Unfortunately we couldn't stay at Andrea's place cause it was overbooked! BUT he arranged an alternative stay close by in a really nice farm house with a pool! As an apology we got some really nice prosecco. Andrea is very nice and I would love to come back to this area to stay in his place! As we couldn't stay there we only got a first impression. His place looked awesome!

Andrea & Daria were great hosts. Our Italian is fairly poor, so it was great to have hosts with great English skills to tell us about the area, their farm, talk about Sicily, help enjoy our time in the region and book us into great restaurants (Andrea even helped us deal with an unfortunate dodgy credit card drama involving a rental car company). Our room was large and clean. The bed was comfortable. For us the stay was not really about the accommodation as such (which was great), rather it was that we had great experiences sharing. Andrea had a pizza night and involved us in the experience (great to see the oven and kitchen in action). Andrea is a true B&B host, seems to love sharing, talking and helping guests. I think that is the key to what makes B&B Vinciucci so great. Plus breakfast was pretty awesome as well :)

Classe 1987. Nato e cresciuto nella campagna modicana, Vinciucci è sempre stata la mia casa, fin da piccolo ho vissuto e contribuito agli episodi più importanti aiutando mia madre nella gestione del posto, che hanno reso il B&B Vinciucci ciò che è; ovvero un'attività di famiglia, attiva dal 2002, che ha l'intento di offrire un'esperienza siciliana vera e genuina, creando l'atmosfera per rendere partecipe ogni ospite alla nostra vita quotidiana instaurando un rapporto sincero con ognuno di loro. Appassionato di cucina e grazie alla mia esperienza lavorativa nell'alta ristorazione a Londra, ho sviluppato nel tempo l'understanding necessaria per comprendere i bisogni e le ispirazioni dei miei ospiti durante il loro soggiorno. Risiedo nella stessa struttura di cui fa anche parte il B&B, che è molto importante al fine di essere sempre a portata di mano per i miei ospiti, con totale disponibilità a fornire consigli riguardo a tutto ciò che viene offerto dalla nostra zona.
