The Nature and the suroundings
Hiking. The area is known for its unique opportunities for hiking in Klinteskoven.
Møens Klint forms one of Denmark's most beautiful coastlines. In some places the chalk cliffs slant obliquely towards the sea; in other places they rise vertically from the sea. The cliffs are about 6 km in length and up to 100 meters high. Møns Klint is also known for its great wealth of wild orchids. The soil’s high lime content is the reason why we in the area around Møns Klint can find some 20 species of these fascinating and often beautiful plants. The best places to spot the orchids are in the areas called Jydelejet, Slotsbankerne and Høvblege. Møns Klint is home to almost half of Denmark's 43 orchid species. These orchids are protected by law and it is not allowed to pick them.
Geocentret at Mons Klint is an interactive exhibition featuring natural history displays and lots of outdoor activities. www.moensklint.dk
Cruise. From Klintholm Harbour it is possible take boat trips to Møns Klint with sail cutter "Discovery". It is a unique experience to see the cliffs from the sea. Duration 2 hours. Reservation: the 21 40 41 81 www.sejlkutteren-discovery.dk

The beaches on Møn are never crowded. They are also very clean. They cleaned annually by a voluntary effort. The beaches east and west of Klintholm harbour in particular have fine dunes and white sand.
Liselund, the romantic 18th century pleasure palace, with the associated adventure garden, was built in the late 1700's by a French nobleman. This is also an experience worth it.
Burial mounds from the Neolithic and Bronze Age are found all over Møn.
Churches. There are a number of very different churches, but especially the murals in Fanefjord Church were restored and very worth seeing.
Bicycling. You can rent bikes at the grocery store in Klintholm Harbour a few miles from the farm.
Golf. There is the opportunity to play golf on Møns Golf Club's 18 hole course, which is very beautifully situated on the waterfront. There is also a 9 hole pay & play course.

Stege : is Møn’s charming market town with good shopping. Visit Luffes courtyard and enjoy the local brewery’s beer tasting menu. Here you will also find the town's best wine shop.
Gourmetgården on the main street in Stege offers culinary experiences - and Kaj Kok on Klintevejen halfway between our farmhouse and Stege, offers delicious traditional Danish country food. An hour's drive from the farm, you will find two gourmet restaurants; in Vordingborg it is "Babette" and in Præstø it is Frederiksminde - both places with exquisite menus.
Arts. Møn has over time attracted many artists - the unique landscape and light remains a constant source of inspiration - even for famous foreign artists. See summer magazine Moen, a magazine for the islands Møn and Bogø and the areas to the north. The magazine is free and has interesting articles about nature, environment, culture, arts and crafts.
