We had a great stay for one night. The staff was friendly and helpful and the beds were comfortable. Also there was a ven and airconditioning which made the night of sleep even better. So we were fresh for the good breakfast they served us. The finishing of the room could be improved my cleaning more in corners and removing paint from from places where it is not supposed to be. However, all in all we hd a comfortable stay and enjoyed the beach in walking distance.

Remarkable stay. The hotel was grand; maybe a little run-down but still one of the best places to stay in Mombasa. There are many nice things I can say about this place, but at the very to of the list is the fantastic staff. Everyone was very kind and helpful, especially Eva, the receptionist/manager. She was always happy to help me, and tolerated my endless questions with patience and a beautiful smile. The day chef, whose name I've forgotten because I started calling him "Doctor" since he saved me so many morning from certain death of a hangover by giving me coffee, was always ready with coffee, a good breakfast, and a smile. Every single one of them was friendly and good at their job. Due to the horrible timing of my stay, I spent a lot of time at the hotel, and by the beautiful pool, which Elvis kept sparkling clean all the time. They don't have a license to sell alcohol, so I had to go buy my own, but even that I can't complain about since I'd have stayed there and paid too much for cocktails instead of making my own. This won't be remembered as my favorite vacation stay, but not one negative aspect of my trip was because they didn't do their very best to make me happy and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again once all this pandemic shit has gone away, and I'd recommend it highly to anyone thinking of staying there.
