It was really nice living with Marcela! She is a lovely host & really helpful and open for communication. If your learning Spanish, she would also be a great conversation partner:) She also helped me with finding the right places in town and whenever I needed help. Also the environment of the apartment is really nice, the street is lively which is really fun (just a bit loud at night) and it’s pretty much walking distance from neighborhoods like El Raval or Gracia :) The only thing that I guess is important to note, it is definitely a shared living situation (around 3/4 people usually) so it is never squeaky clean & the house generally is very old and shows some signs of aging (like walls have spots etc) so maybe if your into a super super clean and like spotless environment- it’s not the right fit for you. Also it was quite loud at night (like animal noises or people yelling) Other than that it was a good stay and the street it’s in and the area is sooo so lovely!

Alojarse en casa de Marcela es una experiencia hermosa. Te sentís rápidamente como en casa en un ambiente muy relajado, tranquilo y amoroso. Realmente pase un mes espectacular tanto en compañía de Marcela como con el resto de huéspedes. Ampliamente recomendable, sobre todo el trato, la disposición y la cercanía de Marcela. El lugar y entorno es inmejorable, la zona peatonal recientemente remodelada y la proximidad a todas las línea de metro, al margen de que su ubicación te permite llegar a muchos sitios turísticos a pie en pocos minutos. Reservar sin dudarlo.

L'appartement est idéalement situé, la chambre correspondait à la description et Marcela est une hôte très sympathique et attentionnée, j'ai beaucoup apprecié mon sejour chez elle et reviendrais sans hésiter !

Miejsce, które oferuje Marcela znajduje się w świetnej lokalizacji. W okolicy można znaleźć dużo barów i restauracji. Jedyne co mi przeszkadzało to remont w mieszkaniu obok. Marcela jest bardzo pomocną osobą, u której można poczuć się jak w domu.

Marcela is THE BEST. Beautiful human and so inspiring . I really enjoyed getting to know her and living there for a month. It is so easy to stay there- perfect and safe location, lovely balcony with plants too where I very much enjoyed a morning coffee and easy access to three metro stops. Great 100 yr old bakery opposite and vegetarian restaurant (Tulsi) . I really like the shared atmosphere that Marcela provides. Perfect place for someone to stay who is solo or studying. I can’t wait to come back at some point!
