We loved our stay at the cabin. The deck overlooking Lake Michigan was amazing and the property was spacious and incredibly private. The cabin had everything we needed. We took several day trips to Mackinac City, the Cut River Bridge, the Garland Zoo, the sandy Lakeshore just up the road, Castle Rock and more. When it came time, we didn't want to leave. It was a very relaxing vacation.

A gem! The perfect get away. Daily bald eagle sightings. Falling asleep to the waves. The sunsets, the birds, the peace. Just magical.

The place is great and much more spacious than the pictures suggest. Unfortunately, we couldn't use the deck much because it was too cold at the end of May, but the view was still gorgeous. Mary was very quick to respond to any questions and she was extremely helpful, with suggestions about things to do in the UP. We would love to come back to the place in the future!

This is the place to stay when visiting the Gateway to the Upper Peninsula. Perfectly located and pleasantly tucked in the trees along Lake Michigan, we ventured on day trips to waterfalls and beaches and then returned to relax on the deck for sunsets. The cabin has everything you'll need. And Mary has excellent suggestions for places to hike, restaurants to eat and shops to get the best fresh fish for grilling. It was difficult to leave. We definitely hope to return again.
