We had a wonderful time staying at this studio. Marieke was so kind and accommodating and very flexible with our schedule, and made sure we had everything we needed. She also included a very helpful guidebook with great restaurant and activity suggestions.The studio was cozy and comfortable and was decorated very nicely. The location is also great, just a few minutes to walk to the metro. Would love to stay again if ever in the area again!

Marieke’s place is very comfortable and in a lovely location by the Amstel. It’s a good-sized studio, and cozily decorated. There are supermarkets, breakfast places and the metro close by. We would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely time in Amsterdam. The flat is decorated lovingly and has everything you need for your stay. We especially loved the location and the bikes and all the great recommendations Marieke provided us with. Marieke is a wonderful host and the communication was very pleasant and uncomplicated. Only thing to mention is that the bathroom is rather small and it could be a tight fit if you're on the taller side.

It's pretty clear that running the space is the top priority for Marieke. She is ever present and ready to assist. There are some small ergonomic problems that become annoying on long stays (small bathroom, small kitchen, regular studio living stuff) but the space was great and enjoyable.

Marieke's little studio was a delight during our week stay in Amsterdam. We loved the cozy space that was well decorated and made us feel right at home. The space was perfect for the two of us and we slept very well as it was a quiet space and street that the studio was on. Marieke greeted us when we got there and cheerfully introduced us to the space, bikes (we did not use due to it being pretty rainy while we were there), and the surrounding neighborhood with what to do. She also provides a handmade guidebook with what to do which was helpful and endearing. Marieke followed up throughout the visit every handful of days to see if we needed anything or how the trip was going for us which made her feel like our Amsterdam mom that we never had! A word of advice to those that do visit this place: the bathroom is fairly small but functional so please expect that and the stairs up to the apartment are quite steep (most of Amsterdam is this way!) but not an issue for us. Thank you Marieke!!!
