nice remote place
Mike and Sarah are wonderful hosts. Their place is just as described. Beautiful surroundings of trees, plants, wildlife. Their outdoor cat is very friendly too and greeted us on the first day when we arrived. Bubbling creek sound fills the air. We saw two deer on the property. Very peaceful. Note: as others have noted, the bathroom is a short (and serene walk) to the main house from the guest house. At night there is a walkway but bring your phone if you want more light or a flashlight. Plenty of towels, hot water, electricity, etc...despite being remote. Sarah even let us borrow their iron and ironing board in a pinch for our wedding attire. We'll be back again!
We love staying with Mike and Sarah! Their place is just a dream ✨ A little hidden slice of paradise, and so so peaceful. 🧘🏼♀️ We will most definitely stay again!

We have lived in rural Northern California for many years, but moved to Burnt Ranch in 2003. We've spent years and a great deal of enjoyment making this a special place to call our own and to share with others. We love being outdoors, gardening, enhancing our property, working on different history projects, and especially seeing our kids and grandkids. We are both now retired from jobs in education, including admin and tech.
