Hi I am Darinee, and I love to travel. I was born and raised in Phuket, Thailand, and I love it here! I feel very lucky to have been born in paradise, and I have spent over ten years in the hospitality industry, introducing others to my wonderful island. I speak Thai, English and Russian, and I enjoy engaging new people from far away places. I used to be a tour guide as well, so I know the local area thoroughly. I have a lot of connections and I can help you find the best places to eat, drink, swim, snorkel, and tour the area on excursions around the island and beyond. I have traveled pretty extensively in southeast Asia and beyond. Here's a brief list of places that I have visited: United States, Switzerland , France, Italy Australia, Russia, Korea, China, Vietnam, Bali, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Laos, Brunai , Japan as well as all over Thailand. My goal is to provide a safe, affordable, and comfortable place to stay for travelers who come for a night, a week, or even several months. I want you to feel at home. I have had guests stay for all different lengths of time and it is always a pleasure to show people about my "neck of the woods". When I travel I don't always look for the most expensive, posh place, because it is the area, the food, the people and the local life that is most important for me to experience when traveling to a new place. This is a guiding principle to me in hosting guests now - I want you to love it here, and love all that my beautiful island has to offer as well.
