Get the full and real Khayelitsha experience and stay with this wonderful family. They will tell you everything about the neighbourhood. The son, Tiisetso, is a good guide, he can show you everything you want to see. Lydia is a great cook, so join the family for dinner! It’s perfectly safe, so go there!

We had an amazing experience at Lydia's B&B. Great welcoming, super kind people, outstanding local dinner! Our stay was so delightful! we do reccomend Lydia to anybody, who wants to feel the unique experience of Kayelitsha!

We really loved our stay with Lydia and the family. So glad we opted to stay here rather than in the city. Although it was about 20 minutes from downtown Cape Town, it was worth the drive to be able to stay with a family and experience life in SA. As far as the details most people might wonder about: the house was very clean, the bed super comfortable, the food was excellent and the company was great. I loved sitting out on the balcony watching life go by or listening to the sounds of the community.

Our stay was simply wonderful! It is a true eyeopener to stay in a township & experience the friendliness there. The place was clean & comfortable and very safe. Also the drive was perfectly save & we could leave our car indoors with Lydia & Alfred. Great Food (ASK for dinner!!) & breakfast. Highly recommended to everyone!
