It was a very smooth and easy experience staying at Joe's place. Before I arrived, he emailed me a word document weeks before with information on how to arrive at his place, details about the apartment and its neighborhood. Whenever I contacted him, he was very fast to reply and more than accommodating to assisting me with all my needs.

I stayed at Joe's for two weeks during my home renovation. The apartment was exactly like the photo, it's clean, got loads of sunlight and spacious for HK standard. The apartment is equipped with basic kitchenware so cooking isn't a major issue, the grill is a wonderful addition to the balcony! The hot water (limited use) might be a small problem to girls (with long hair) , but you get use to it quite quickly. Overall, it was a really nice place, good value for money, friendly and helpful host. Would recommend !!

For a city with space crunch, Joe's spacious and airy apartment is perfect for a solo/couple traveller! Within walking distance to the MTR station and a bus stop that brings you to Central, it definitely is very accessible. If you are coming in from the airport, take the airport express to Hong Kong Station and take a taxi. Location is very near to the watering holes (much-raved about LKF) for people requiring an adult beverage or two! However, i wouldn't recommend doing it in the summer due to the high humidity. Instead, have it on the Joe's balcony, which is perfect with a good book or for you to enjoy dinner on. There was also a grill available as well but we didn't use it. Being in an area where there are plenty of museums, it is also a tourist spot but not as packed. Plenty of restaurants and cha chaan tengs nearby for your preferred choice of meals. If you would like to eat in, there is a few wellcome stores nearby where you can pick up groceries and whip something up in his quaint kitchen. Joe's recommendation of the laundry service nearby was also cheap and quick! Oh, and he definitely has some really friendly security guards, especially the night guards! Though Joe wasn't around to assist, it won't be an issue for people who prefer to get lost in the hustle and bustle of a new city. Find your way around and a new adventure awaits in every corner as i came to find out! I can't stress how much space there is in his place as I have heard that there are plenty of small and tight apartments in Hong Kong, but definitely not at Joe's. If you are looking to stay like a local among the locals, Joe's place is definitely the place to be! Thank you Joe!

Joe a été un hôte parfait! Comme il n'était pas présent pendant mon séjour, il a préparé entièrement mon arrivé en me donnant tous les conseils et informations nécessaires. Et puis à mon arrivée l'appartement était d'une propreté éclatante! Donc rien à dire! Séjour parfait! Je recommande évidemment de rester dans cet appartement pour son côté central, fonctionnel et agréable avec la terrasse!
